Pine-Strawberry
Arizona Trail Design
Pine and Strawberry are Gateway Communities for the Arizona National Scenic Trail. This project will result in a trail network that connects the Arizona Trail with loops around both communities as well as providing a new and improved course for the Fire On The Rim mountain bike race.

2009 Projects

Adams Camp Parcel
Stowe Ride Center
Stowe, VT
As a part of the Broadreach Consulting Team, designed 11.5 miles of singletrack for mountain biking on the Adams Camp Property near Stowe, Vt. When built, the system will serve as a hub for mountain biking in the Stowe area, and will connect to other trails and systems. The property, a woodland side hill, presented challenges in the form of pervasive wetlands and several major drainages.

Casa Grande Mountain
Casa Grande, AZ
Provided a trail system plan for approximately 10 miles for the City of Casa Grande on Casa Grande Mountain, located south of the city. Challenges included steep terrain, property boundary line restrictions and an existing network of social trails.

Arizona Trail
Ajax Mountain
White Canyon, AZ
This 1.5-mile stretch of trail was extremely challenging because of the terrain (30-55 degrees of side slope), bedrock, severe drainage cuts, rock cliff faces and limiting property boundaries. It took three of us three long days to complete grade line staking. When finished, the trail will be a significant addition to the already legendary beauty of this National Scenic Trail.
